MAD-ID Annual Meeting
The 27th Annual MAD-ID Meeting, The Antimicrobial Stewardship Meeting® will take place May 28-31, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando in Orlando, FL. Once again, the live portion of the highly popular MAD-ID Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Training Program (AASP) will be delivered along with other contemporary content regarding infectious diseases prevention and treatment. Additionally, we are launching a new series of sessions that focus on ID education; a must for all preceptors.
Pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other providers will be given the opportunity to participate in a three-and-a-half-day educational conference specifically designed to apply recent research to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship while earning continuing education credits.
As in previous years, discounted registration fees will be offered for students and trainees, stewardship program partners from the same institution, and ID resident-residency director pairs. In addition, travel grant assistance will be awarded to students, residents, and fellows who present an abstract during the Scientific Poster Session. Trainees are also invited to a pre-meeting session just for them on Wednesday, May 28th highlighting reseach awards, career development and networking.

To receive the discounted Stewardship Team Partners registration fee OR the ID Resident / Residency Director Team registration fee, you must register two stewardship Team members, representing two different healthcare professions e.g, for the Stewardship Team Partners, physician/pharmacist, pharmacist/residency director, pharmacist/nurse, pharmacist/infection control practitioner, etc from the same institution to qualify. The same holds true for the ID Resident/Residency Director Team, they must register together to qualify for the discount.
Conference Fees/Detailed Instructions:
Your registration fee includes the program information that is available to download from the Annual Meeting website prior to the meeting. Additionally, the following meals and refreshments will be provided: Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening, Scientific Poster Session Reception on Thursday evening, Exhibitor Reception on Friday evening, Continental Breakfast on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and all scheduled breaks.
Please note that your registration fee does not cover your incidental expenses or expenses of a spouse or guest, including their travel, hotel room, or meals. All meal functions are for the program participants only. Continuing Education Credits:
- MAD-ID will award a maximum of 20.50 hours (2.05 CEU) for pharmacists.
- MAD-ID will award a maximum of 18.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians.
Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Training Program (AASP):
The live portion of the Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Training Program is included within the agenda for the MAD-ID program, designated in the agenda by "AASP." Registrants for the Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Training Program must complete the quizzes/assessment questions that accompany each of the designated Advanced Stewardship Training classrooms or lectures and pass the associated quizzes.
PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRATION IN THE AASP IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE BASIC MEETING REGISTRATION FEE.
All attendees will receive continuing education credit for any of the live MAD-ID or designated Antimicrobial Stewardship sessions they attend at the Annual Meeting regardless of whether they register for the AASP. Call for Abstracts and Travel Grant Assistance
You are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for presentation in poster format at the 27th Annual MAD-ID Meeting. The abstract submission deadline is Monday, April 21, 2025 (or earlier if the abstract limit is reached). In addition, a limited number of $500 travel grant assistance and waived registration fee are available to full-time students, residents, and fellows who submit an accepted abstract for poster presentation. Cancellation Policy:
MAD-ID will provide refunds of registration fees according to the following time frames with written notice of cancellation:
- Before March 28th – full refund, less a $40 administrative fee
- March 29th – April 27th - 50% of your registration fee will be refunded
- April 28th – forward - no refunds will be processed

HOTEL INFORMATION
There are several hotels in the Orlando area close to the official MAD-ID hotel, and we understand the inclination to look for the best rates. However, by staying at the official MAD-ID hotel you will help support this and future MAD-ID programs, keep registration costs down for everyone and maintain high-quality programming.
We have a special room block reserved at the Hyatt Regency Orlando at a negotiated rate of $209 single/double occupancy plus 13.625% tax
Please support our meeting by staying at the official meeting hotel. Rooms are available at the MAD-ID group rate until May 5, 2025 (or sooner if the room block is filled prior to that date). After May 5th rooms are subject to the prevailing rate and availability at the hotel. Please book your room early to secure you reservation. The cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a 1- night room penalty fee. All no-shows are subject to a 1-night penalty fee.
Additional concessions:
